Evanescence

Evanescence es el nuevo álbum homónimo de la banda. Fue originalmente programado para el otoño del 2010 pero fue retrasado gracias a un gran numero de circunstancias las cuales llevaron a la banda a pasar otro año escribiendo y mejorando nuevo material así como también un cambio en lo productores. Amy recientemente anunció a través de su cuenta de Twitter que el álbum sería finalmente lanzado el 4 de Octubre del 2011, pero el 11 de Julio del 2011, MTV News confirmó que el álbum había sido empujado una semana más por Wind-Up Records. La fecha del lanzamiento final del álbum fue el 11 de octubre 2011. La portada del álbum fue mostrado por primera vez en Amazon.com el 29 de agosto de 2011. En Australia, el 7 de octubre de 2011, el álbum fue lanzado oficialmente, cuatro días antes de la fecha de lanzamiento en EE.UU..
